The SFBL is proud to announce that opening day for the Fall 2009 Season is set for November 15 , 2009.  This will be our 18th year of operation and our 35th consecutive season!  This page has been designed to help new players and team managers register to play this great game of baseball. 

.......so if its live adult baseball action you crave....if you want to hear that crack of the bat (ping?).....if you want to smell the leather....read on!

Teams will begin to be formed on October 8 , 2009 and Player Pool assignments will be made starting October 15 , 2009.

Teams:  The League Office has changed the fee structure for this upcoming season.  Teams are now responsible for a flat team fee of $2,900.  A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required by October 14, 2009.  This will get your team into the league schedule.  The balance of the team fee will be due by October 30, 2009.  Teams must carry a minimum roster of thirteen (13) players, but may choose to carry more players with no increase in fees.  This allows teams to reduce the fees they charge their players.

To begin the registration process, Team Managers must first call the League Office at 305.663.2521 to request clearance for any proposed team name.  Once the team name is approved, the team manager will be assigned a User ID and Password.  Next, the team manager must load the team roster into the SFBL database.  Finally, the team manager must submit the completely signed team liability waiver form along with appropriate full payment of registration fees to the league office.

Players:  The individual player league fee for the Fall 2009 Season is $220 per player (cash, checks and visa and mastercard are accepted - no AMEX).  To register, players must print out the player registration form below and mail it into the League Office along with the registration fee.

Payment options:

1)  Fax registration form into the League Office with credit card information (MasterCard, Visa or Discover).

2)  Mail registration form to League Office along with check payable to SFBL /  5681 SW 59 Place, South Miami, FL 33143

3)  Use Paypal

                  

In order to pay by check through paypal, simply create a FREE paypal account after clicking the "Pay Now" button above and follow instructions.

Upon receipt of payment, you will be placed into the SFBL Payer Pool and assigned to a team by age, city of residence and fielding position.  Players may contact the League Office at 305.663.2521 to verify payment received and placement status.  However, the League Office will notify you automatically of registration status as soon as registration form and payment have been received.
