This year's Summer League proved to be a huge success with 6 South Florida teams participating in 6 weeks of Summer Ball. The League Office would like to congratulate this year's champions, the Miami Hurricanes who went undefeated in the regular season and defeated the Miami Aqua Sox by a score of 7-4 in the Championship Game.

Opening day for 2003 Summer League is July 13, 2003. Fueled by last year's success, the six week - six game summer season is designed to keep baseball alive and well during the summer for active teams and players as well as provide a forum for new players to join the league.

The team entry fee is fixed at $1,300, regardless of roster size. The individual player fee is $100 ($104 for credit card payments). Individual players wishing to participate in the Summer League will be assigned to the Miami AquaSox squad, the league team. To join, simply mail in the player registration form along with your payment.
The Registration Deadline is Monday July 7, 2003.
The inaugural 2002 Summer League proved to be a huge success with the Miami Diamondbacks taking the title. Other teams participating were two St. Thomas University JV teams, Sante Fe Reds (Palm Beach), Broward Braves, and Miami Red Sox.
The 2003 Summer League will consist of 6 to 8 teams, divided into 2 brackets. The top team in each bracket after the six game summer season completes advances to the Championship Game. The Summer League Champion will take home a major-league Championship Trophy and individual player Gold Medals.
The games will be played under SFBL Rules. All games will be played at Flamingo Park in Miami Beach, Coral Gables High School in Coral Gables, Coral Park High and Killian High in Miami and Sunset Park in Plantation.
